TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

These Terms & Conditions are the agreement between subscriber(s)/ member(s) and International Coins (Hong Kong) Limited (“ICL”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

 

1. Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions shall apply:

 

1.1 “Our website” or “ICL website” or “the website” means www.coins.com.hk

1.2 “Subscribers” mean those who purchased in our website

1.3 “Members” mean those who registered an account in our website

1.4 “e-Coupon” means the electronic coupons issued by ICL for members

1.5 “Promotion Code” means the promotion code used by members or subscribers for their purchase at our website

1.6 “Our shop” means our retail shop in Hong Kong

 

2. Order

2.1 Subscribers shall be aged 18 years or above and capable of forming a legally binding contract.

 

2.2.1 Online Order

Upon receiving an online order, the system will send an email immediately to the email account as provided by the subscriber, but such notice does not imply acceptance and shall not in any event prejudice ICL’s right to reject any order at its absolute discretion. The subscriber has to check and verify the order details shown in the notice.

 

2.2.2 Offline Order

Upon receiving a completed offline order downloaded from the website, ICL will notify the subscriber and confirm with them the order details by phone/ WhatsApp/ WeChat/ Signal/ mail/ email.

 

2.3 As all products are in limited availability, all orders will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis and depending on the available quantity of product(s). Products are available while stocks last.  Regardless of the ordering channel, once order is confirmed and accepted by ICL, subscribers cannot cancel the order and payment will not be refunded.

 

2.4.1 Online ordering is only applicable to online credit card payment (VISA/MASTERCARD/DISCOVER/AMERICAN EXPRESS/ DINERS), payment through PayPal account or Bank-in Payment.  Online payment by credit card or PayPal account will be made by system automatically upon submission of online order by the subscriber.  Transaction amount of each order shall not exceed HK$78,000.  For subscriber who chooses to pay by Bank-in, payment shall be made to ICL’s designated bank account within 48 hours upon order submission. After completion of payment, proof of payment (original or copy of bank-in slip or screenshot of payment transferred) shall be uploaded to ICL website or submitted according to ICL’s instruction for further verification.  The amount, date and time of the transaction must be clearly shown on the proof of payment.  Order will be cancelled without prior notice for late submission of proof of payment.

 

2.4.2 Subscribers ordering via WhatsApp/ WeChat/ Signal/ email/ mail/ fax with the order form downloaded from ICL website could choose to pay by bank-in/ cheque/ cashier’s order/ credit card (VISA/MASTERCARD).  Subscriber shall follow the instructions stated in the order form to complete payment and submit completed order form.

 

2.4.3 ICL reserves the right to present for payment made by any of the aforementioned payment means, but such presentation does not imply acceptance and shall not in any event prejudice ICL’s right to reject any order at its absolute discretion.

 

2.5 In case of unsuccessful order, the charged payment will be refunded without interest to the subscriber by ICL. For credit card payment, a refund will be made to the credit card account.  For payment by bank-in/ cheque/ cashier’s order, a refund cheque will be sent to the address stated on the order form via surface mail at the subscriber’s risk.  ICL shall not be liable for any losses or damages suffered by the subscriber as a result of such rejection or refund arrangement.

 

3. Delivery and Pick-up

3.1.1 Unless specified otherwise, successful subscribers who choose to pick up the subscribed item(s) in person at our shop will be notified by mail within 8 - 12 weeks after order confirmation.  Subscribed item(s) must be collected within 3 months from the issue date of the Order Pick Up Notice.  Uncollected subscribed item(s) after the aforementioned period will be deemed abandoned by the subscriber and disposed of at ICL’s sole discretion without further notice.  And, no refund will be made.

 

3.1.2 Unless specified otherwise, successful subscribers who choose delivery, the subscribed item(s) will be sent within 8 - 12 weeks after order confirmation.  For orders placed outside Hong Kong, the subscribed item(s) will be sent within 10 - 14 weeks after order confirmation.

 

3.1.3 Regardless of delivery or pick-up, subscriber shall be the recipient of subscribed item(s).  Upon pick-up or delivery of subscribed item(s), subscriber shall present his/ her identity card for verification.  If subscriber wants to appoint someone to collect the subscribed item(s), he/ she shall inform ICL’s Customer Service within 5 working days upon submission of order for further arrangement.

 

3.2 For purchase made in Hong Kong (regardless of paid or free delivery), basic delivery area is limited to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories (P.O. boxes excluded).  Additional delivery charges will be imposed for delivery to outlying islands and remote/ special areas (including but not limited to Fairview Park , Kingswood Villas, Discovery Bay, Ma Wan, the walled villages, Tung Chung and Airport).  ICL will provide quotation upon any extra requests (including but not limited to specific delivery date/ time appointment).  For quotations or enquiries, please contact ICL Customer Service by WhatsApp/ WeChat/ Signal at (852) 5112 0984 , by phone at (852) 2845 8330, by fax at (852) 2537 1428 or via email to icl@coins.com.hk.

 

3.3 For purchase made in Hong Kong (regardless of paid or free delivery), if the first time of delivery is unsuccessful (caused by the subscriber, including but not limited to sudden change of delivery address or time, or no show during delivery), subscriber shall pay for delivery again.

 

3.4 For verification purpose, subscribers ordering online via credit card payment are required to produce the concerned credit card when collecting the subscribed item(s).

 

3.5 For delivery outside Hong Kong, ICL will provide quotation for the delivery charges and insurance according to the delivery address, the weight and the size of the  parcel for subscribed item(s).  For details on quotation, please contact ICL Customer Service by WhatsApp/WeChat/Signal at (852) 5112 0984, by phone at (852) 2845 8330, by fax at (852) 2537 1428 or via email to icl@coins.com.hk.

 

3.6 If not specified, overseas recipient has to pay for the charges that are levied by the recipient’s country, including the import duties and the sales taxes.  The levied amount is determined by the customs and excise department of the concerned country.

 

4. Price and Free Gift

4.1 All product prices shown on ICL website are in HK dollars.

 

4.2 ICL reserves the right to alter the product prices on the website at any time without prior notice.

 

4.3 Member Price is applicable to successful registered members only.  The identity of members will be verified according to ICL’s record.

 

4.4 All limited-time offers shall be valid for orders placed and paid within the offer deadline.

 

4.5 Prices offered on the website may differ from those charged for the same Products at our shop.

 

4.6 All free gift offers shall be valid based on the terms and conditions of individual offer.  Free gifts are available while stock lasts and shall be issued on first come first served basis.  ICL reserves the right to alter or terminate any offers at any time, without prior notice.

 

5. Member

5.1 All registered ICL members shall be aged 18 years or above. Otherwise, ICL reserves the right to cancel the membership without prior notice.  In any case, ICL has the right to reject any application for membership.

 

5.2 If member cancels his/ her membership, all transaction records and/ or e-Coupons recorded in the account will be cancelled simultaneously.

 

5.3 In the event that the member account is not used for 3 years, ICL will, for member’s and ICL’s protection, deem the account to be no longer in use, and ICL will suspend the account and all the transaction records and/or e-Coupons recorded in the account will be cancelled (where applicable) without prior notice.

 

6. e-Coupon and Promotion Code

6.1 The use of all e-Coupons or Promotion Codes shall follow their individual terms and conditions. ICL reserves the final decision to alter and terminate the offers or Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

 

6.2 All expired, unused e-Coupons will not be reissued or extended.

 

7. Others

7.1 ICL reserves the right at any time without prior notice to revise the content of the website (including but not limited to the Terms and Conditions). Any changes and revisions will be posted on the website and by continuing use the website following any such change subscribers and members will signify that they agree to be bound by the revised terms and conditions of use.  This right includes the right to change any of the documentation which forms part of these terms and conditions.

 

7.2 If there is any discrepancy between the graphics, words and/or pictures shown on the website and those shown in the actual product(s), those shown in the actual product(s) shall be the authentic version thereof and the authenticity and genuineness of the product(s) shall in no way be affected.

 

7.3 The content of the website is the property of ICL, or used under the permission and authorization of the product and information suppliers/ owners.  The related copyright, the trademark, the service mark, the patent or other property rights belong to ICL or the related product and information suppliers/ owners.  Revision, republication or release of all or any part of the content of the website is prohibited without permission.  ICL reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law for breaches of any of the unlawful interference to the website.

 

7.4 ICL shall not be liable for any delay or non-performance of its obligations under the Terms and Conditions or the website (including but not limited to delivery or pick-up of an order), to the extent that such delay or non-performance is due to any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of ICL (which shall include, but not limited to, fire, casualty, accident, act of God, natural disaster, pandemic, any law, order, proclamation, regulation, demand or requirement of government(s) or of any of its/ their government agencies, strikes, labour disputes, shortage of labour or lack of skilled labour, shortage or unavailability of products or raw materials, delay in transit or other causes whatsoever (whether similar to the foregoing or not) beyond the reasonable control of ICL).

 

7.5 If there is any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version of the above terms and conditions, the English version shall apply and prevail.

 

7.6 The Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
